NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index was up 3.6 per cent at 9,443.2 around 10:41 am on Monday with all its components trading in the green.
Shares of Divi's Laboratories (up 13.12 per cent), Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories (up 5.55 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 3.49 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 3.08 per cent), were among the top performers.Lupin (up 2.60 per cent), Cipla (up 2.20 per cent), Cadila Healthcare (up 1.84 per cent) and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 1.03 per cent) too were trading higher.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 50.70 points at 10,080.7 while BSE Sensex was up 186.85 points at 33,536.16 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Shares of ICICI Bank, YES Bank, SBI, Axis Bank, BEL, Bank of Baroda, BHEL, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and ITC were among the most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
