BAJURA, AUGUST 21A Nepali Army team is actively repairing rainwater damaged roads in different places of Bajura. Two-way traffic resumes along Narayangadh-Muglin road section Narayangadh-Muglin road section obstructed Major Dhamendra Bahadur Singh of Durgabhanjan Battalion said that the Nepail Army team was active in opening obstructed roads.

The NA team repaired the Martadi-Tribeni road section of Badimalika Municipality.

The NA team planned to repair the road section after landslides destroyed the road in many places along the Martadi-Kolti road section.

The NA team was deployed after landslides obstructed the road due to incessant rainfall in Badimalika Municipality.Forty NA team members led by Major Singh are working hard after people faced problems.

The road has been repaired with the labour donated by people of Badimalika Municipality. The landslides have put many infrastructure at risk.

Laxmi Secondary School is also at high risk of landslide.

The school has been closed for some days due to continuous landslides near the school.

Locals said that landslides in the middle of the village had also created fear among the residents.Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, people's representatives and locals, among others, have actively worked to repair the roads thinking of it as social work.

Under the labour donation, four wooden bridges, 240 metres gabbion net, two drinking water projects have been repaired.The NA team is on standby for disaster management and loss minimisation during the rainy season.A version of this article appears in the print on August 22, 2023, of The Himalayan Times. .
