THT IMPACT: Elite Adventure provides Rs 1 lakh for Prema's treatment RSP parliamentary party meeting to take place at 4:00 pm today According to Passang Nima Sherpa, President at US Nepal Climbers Association, the event will be jointly organised by the USNCA and Nepal National Mountain Guide Association to promote the sport of climbing, offering a platform for climbers of all levels to showcase their skills and passion for ascending to new heights."The event promises not only intense competition but also a celebration of climbing culture, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa," Passang Nima said. Fostering an environment of inclusivity, the competition aims to unite climbers from diverse backgrounds, encouraging a vibrant and supportive community bound by a shared love for the ascent. Beyond the thrill of competition, the event also holds a profound homage to the legendary Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, an iconic figure in the annals of climbing history and is designed not only to celebrate his extraordinary achievements but also to perpetuate his legacy by inspiring a new generation of Climbers," he shared.Besides, an emotional highlight of the event is the Tribute Climb, an honorary top rope ascent featuring distinguished climbers, athletes, and local dignitaries.

"This climb serves as a symbolic gesture, echoing the footsteps of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and paying homage to his unparalleled contributions to the world of mountaineering," he added.

This historic ascent marked the first confirmed climb of the world's highest peak, symbolizing the triumph of the human spirit and international collaboration. The event also aims to become a launchpad for climbers aspiring to reach Olympic heights.

As the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) is dedicated to uniting and enhancing the standards of professionals in the mountaineering field in Nepal and the US Nepal Climbers Association (USNCA, USA) focuses on safe and ethical practices, responsible access, cultural preservation, and environmental protection in mountainous regions, the joint event marks a collaborative venture between NNMGA and USNCA.According to the organizers, participants in both the male and female categories have the opportunity to win impressive cash prizes in the competition.

"The first, second, and third positioned climbers will be awarded a cash prize of NRs 15,000, NRs 10,000, and NRs 5,000, respectively," the organizers added.
