LAMJUNG, DECEMBER 10One died and 29 others were taken ill after consuming meal at a reception organised at Sundarbazaar Municipality-8 in Lamjung district. PM Dahal, NC President Deuba attend UML festival reception UML to organize festival tea reception on October 31 The deceased identified as Devi Pariyar, 32, of Bensisahar Municipality-4 suffered a headache, fever and vomited before her death at HDCS model community hospital today morning, said Inspector Megha Nath Chapagain at the district police office.She was living at Sundarbazaar Municipality-9.

The deceased and the ill people had taken meal at a reception orgnaised on Friday evening at the house of one Chhetra Bahadur Gurung of Sundarbazaar Municipality-8 on the occasion of Christmas, said Chapagain. All the injured, including the deceased's spouse Debu and their 12-year-old daughter, are receiving treatment at the hospital, said the hospital administration.

The reception was attended by the total 40 people and dishes they were served included rice, pulse, chicken meat and radish pickle, said the police, adding that investigations are underway. .
