DHANGADI, JUNE 30Most roads in the hills of Sudurpaschim Province have been obsturcted following today's rainfall and landslides. 3 killed, 13 hurt, 28 missing in floods, landslides Normal to below normal rainfall predicted over most parts of South Asia this monsoon In Darchula, Gokuleshwor-Darchula Highway has been obstructed at a number of points in Shailyashikhar Municipality and Malikarjun Rural Municipality due to landslides caused by this morning's rainfall.

Likewise, the Jayaprithvi Highway that connects Baitadi to Bajhang, has been obsturcted at a number of places, while various sections of other roads have also been obstructed.In Achham, Kachareti Khola-Mangalsen-Sanfe road section has been obstructed; in Baitadi, the main road has sustained damage in Sunarya due to landslide. Meanwhile, attempts to clear the debris and open the obstructed roads are said to be on.

According to the province police office, damage to the roads has affected all short- and long-route vehicles.
