BHOPAL: Union home minister Amit Shah set a target of 150-plus seats for the governing BJP in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday and said that people must decide if they want MP to be included on the list of "massive cases of Congress corruption" or among the developed states."After India's Independence, the 10 years of the Modi government is the first decade in which 10% of India's population was lifted from poverty.

In Madhya Pradesh, the 20 years of the BJP government have proven to be the golden period of liberation from poverty," Shah said here.Per capita income in MP has risen from Rs 11,700 to Rs 1.40 lakh, showcasing the "record-breaking development" achieved by the partnership of Modi Ji and Shivraj Ji, Shah said.PM Narendra Modi has taken the pledge to make India the world's third-largest economy, a $5 trillion economy and Atma Nirbhar by 2047, Shah reminded.Launching 'Gareeb Kalyan Mahaabhiyan' and the 20-year report card of the BJP government in poll-bound MP, Shah challenged Congress to say what it has done for the state during its term."What has the Congress done? Whenever they formed a government they did nothing but corruption.

On the other hand, under the leadership of PM Modi, India has reached No.

1 rank in digital transactions, LED bulb distribution, cleanliness drive, vaccination, pulses production, milk production, jute production, and manufacturing rail engines.

It is ranked second in the world in mobile, cement, steel, cotton and tea.

It ranks third in start-ups and motor vehicles," Shah said.Accusing the Congress government of stopping poverty alleviation schemes of the Modi government, Shah said: "The Kamal Nath government was known as the 'Corruption Nath' government.

Before resigning from the government, a document that led to Rs 63,000 crore mobile scam was signed.

The nutritional scheme meant for women of Sahariya, Bhariya and Baiga communities was stopped, and transfer of personnel became an industry.

This is their list of 'achievements'.

They have to answer to the people."In the 80s, MP was among the BIMARU states and even the United Nations named it a 'write-off state', said Shah.

"In the last 20 years, the BJP government salvaged Madhya Pradesh from this stigma and laid the foundation for emerging as a developed and Atma Nirbhar state during Amrit Kaal," he added.MP has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of PM Modi's poverty-alleviation schemes, he said.Central, north and eastern India are at the centre of the PM's vision for development, Shah said, adding: "PM Narendra Modi has generously released funds for the development of Madhya Pradesh.

People of MP also contributed immensely to the victory of Modi Ji.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, MP gave 27 of 29 seats to BJP, and 28 in 2019.

I believe that even the difference of one seat will vanish in 2024.""In 2002, Congress passed a budget of only Rs 23,100 crore, which we raised to Rs 3,14,000 crore, the highest rise in India.

The education budget (was raised) from Rs 2,456 crore in Congress rule to Rs 3,800 crore during the BJP's term.

The health budget from Rs 580 crore to Rs 16,000 crore," Shah said.
