In May, Brazil experienced a significant 11.2% boost in oil production compared to the same period in 2022, resulting in a daily output of 3.2 million barrels.This marks a 1.9% increase from April, as announced by the authorities.According to the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), the primary source of this production surge remains the deepwater offshore fields situated in the Atlantic Ocean.These fields contributed 3.19 million barrels per day, accounting for an impressive 77.8% of Brazil's total hydrocarbon production.Among the offshore fields, the Tupi field, which focuses on oil and gas .
